Soluble plugging-gel staged fracturing technology adopts two process strings: plugging the top section and fracturing the bottom section, or plugging the bottom section and fracturing the top section. Injecting soluble plugging-gel system to the required plugging formation,and start fracturing after gelling.

Soluble plugging gel is a high molecular polymer. It can temporarily plug and fracture by adding crosslinker and gel breaker. It can adjust the plugging time under various conditions such as gel breaker and well temperature. After the polymer is dissolved, it has good fluidity and can be injected by pump. It can be gelled in the specified time for plugging, and can undertake a certain pressure and temperature.
