Swelling agent is used in profile control and water shutoff, it’s white or light yellowish granules that can expand slowly and reduce the injection resistance. It can effectively control the swelling time,swelling ratio, flexibility and strength, so as to make the product suitable for different reservoir conditions, such as formation temperature, permeability, salinity and formation pressure, pore throat size etc.

This product not only overcomes the inorganic type with the weakness of blocked tightly,blocked shallowly or weak fluidity, but also avoids the weakness of low strength or can’t block in high permeability zone.

It has characteristics of deformation and diffusion for deep migration to the formation under the action of formation pressure and hydrodynamic force.
