The temperature controlled acid gelling agent has variable viscosity in different temperature through the interaction of gelling agent and crosslinker. It is particularly important that in the process of acid injection and entering the deep layer of the formation, with the continuous increase of temperature, it will crosslinked between 60 ℃ to 90 ℃ in 5-10min. With the viscosity increases, it can prevent filtration loss and control the acid rock reaction speed.

The system mainly includes gelling agent and crosslinker, it can be effectively cross-linked in 20%HCL or 25%HCL (crosslinking time and de-crosslinking time is adjustable according to actural requirement). What’s more, in residual acid solution with high salinity,the system structure will be damaged and degraded,no need adding any gel breaker, suitable for 120℃ reservoir.
